L&W FAB: CNC MACHINE OPERATER
We are still growing and need to fill a position!
Here at L&W we are always looking for people who want to become a dedicated member of the L&W team.
Prior CNC experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
Pay depends on experience and skill level.
This is a fast pace job, that requires lifting and physical stamina.
This job requires attention to detail and a willingness to absorb information about a various combination of parts.
This role includes: Operating various CNC machines. Machine operators are responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating machinery to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Their duties include:
- Setting up: Preparing fixtures and feeding devices, and placing and securing workpieces
- Maintaining: Performing routine maintenance, and fixing machines that have broken down
- Operating: Controlling and adjusting machine settings, feeding raw materials or parts, and monitoring quality performance
- Inspecting: Performing periodic checks on output efficiency, and immediately reporting any possible malfunctions or defects
- Evaluating: Sampling outputs to ensure defects are kept to a minimum
- Protecting: Adhering to company safety rules, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility
This job will require someone that is:
- Dependable & Punctual
- Mechanically inclined.
- Must be ok with standing for up to 10 hours.
- Needs to be able to lift up to 50lb.
- Must be willing to take direction and be a team player.
- Needs to be a self-starter and self-motivator.
This position is full time and offers insurance after 90 days.
This is a warehouse environment.
Hours are 6am-2:30PM EASTERN. (M-F)
