About Us
L&W Fab and Machine, Inc. is family owned and operated. It was started in December of 1974 as a tool and die machine shop by Lonnie and Willa Mae Thompson (for those always wondering, that is where the L&W come from.) What started as a small machine shop in the basement of their home has grown into a well established fab and machine shop with over 35000 square foot with capabilities to do most all work in house.
Since 2000, brothers Barry and Ricky Thompson have evolved a business that has had to adapt to the changing economy. The brothers started dabbling with mud trucks in 2013 and later UTVs. What started as a hobby, has grown into the L&W you know today!
Ricky and Barry retired in 2024, passing the business on to their sons and nephew, who proudly continue to own and operate the same family business that began in 1974. More than 50 years later, the tradition, craftsmanship, and family values behind the business continue into the next generation.
