Our innovative and growing company is looking to fill the role of a General Warehouse Shipping Associate. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspecting product on an assembly production line
• Product loading/unloading
• Ability to read pick sheet
• Some forklift experience a plus, but not required
• Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse
• Prepare shipping documents and labels using computer software
• Picking and pulling items based on customer orders
• Conducting inventory and cycle counts as needed
• General warehouse tasks (maintaining cleanliness, using warehouse equipment, lifting boxes up to 50lbs
• Restock merchandise
• Working to tight deadlines and completing various tasks at short notice
• Comply with all the warehouse procedures, processes and safe working practices
• Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of orders.
• General warehouse duties apply (Floater)
• Adhering to the guidelines laid out in the health & safety policy
• Re-package parts and product for new shipment
• Responsible for ensuring parts are painted properly according to customer specifications while meeting all quality standards
• To keep your area cleaned, organized and free of any debris
• Read quantity of product off a display, retrieve the items and place them in box on the conveyor line Detail accuracy is essential
• Follow work to list as directed by area supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

• High attention to detail with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle pressure
• Good communication/interpersonal/organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and frequently
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time and climb stairs throughout shift
• Ability to work with exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold.
• Conscientious, self-motivated and prepared to work on repetitive tasks are key attributes
• Ability to work in 3-level modules - Not afraid of height
• Ability to read and comprehend information and count inventory accurately
• Able to keep up in a fast paced environment
• Position extremely physical and requires standing for 8 hours per day.
