Your job is the most important position in the shipping department as you set the pace for the day.
Our innovative and growing company is looking to fill the role of an industrial automated bead blaster/ warehouse production operative. RESPONSIBILITIES
- To bead blast any and all parts as needed
- To clean or hand sand all parts as needed
- To pull any and all orders as needed for powder coating
- To hang blasted parts on powder coat carts, tagged with color as needed to be coated
- To put up all parts as they are brought up in totes in the correct and appropriate place.

- To check and QC any and all parts you are handling, BOTH before and after powder coat
- To build pallets for cages that need to be shipped LTL.
- To bend, roll, and drill roofs for cages
- Ensure raw materials and finished stocks are stored correctly and accurately
- Carry out operator tasks, duties and responsibilities as required to achieve departmental requirements
- Working to tight deadlines and completing various tasks at short notice
- Comply with all the warehouse procedures, processes and safe working practices
- Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of orders.
- Helping in all aspects of the warehouse workload.
- Adhering to the guidelines laid out in the health & safety policy
- To clean the powder coat racks as needed
- To keep your area cleaned, organized and free of any debris
- To keep all carts full during your shift and before you leave at 2:30pm.
- Follow work to list as directed by area supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
- High attention to detail with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle pressure
- Good communication/interpersonal/organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and frequently
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time and climb stairs throughout shift
- Ability to work with exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, and sandblast chemicals.
- Conscientious, self-motivated and prepared to work on repetitive tasks are key attributes
- Ability to operate motorized equipment (Order Picker/Reach Truck/Forklift/pallet jack)
- Ability to work in 3-level modules - Not afraid of height
- Ability to read and comprehend information and count inventory accurately
